BEHIND THE SCENES WITH CTO MUSIC
In the midst of a pandemic, CTO was created to blend the energies and cultures of Rock and EDM. CTO creates music based on feelings they are struggling to put into words or donât want to talk about;Â something only music can do. CTO creates music that captures a feeling and gradually builds it up until all the emotion is finally released at the drop.
MEMBERS
JAMESON CHARLES
DJ and Producer
Jamo went to an EDM Red Rocks concert last summer and fell in love with the culture and energy. He produces the foundation tracks for CTO which are then transformed into rock by Andrew and Anders, sung on by Julia, and then drums are added by Reid.
ANDREW BACHMAN
Guitarist
Andrew started playing 12 years guitar ago and got a lot of his inspiration from players like evh and steve vai. He joined because Anders said he had a band. He is the lead guitarist.
REID COWPERTHWAITE
Producer
Reid started making his own music his freshman year and eventually found his style. He joined CTO because he felt it was a good group of people to not only be around but to help him get better. In CTO he is the âDubstepâ producer, and drummer.
NATE MIDDLETON
Sound Engineer and Rapper
Nate listened to a rap song a few years ago and dug and dug until he was spending all of his time on Spotify creating a 24 hour playlist. He then began creating his own songs and rap beats and joined CTO to continue this.
ANDERS GLOSSINGER
Manager and Guitarist
Anders created CTO because he needed an escape from life. He surrounded himself with the most talented musicians and audio engineers he knew. Anders chose people that all liked similar but different music tastes so that CTO could create something that isnât mainstream, but their idea of good music put together.
ZANE KALANI
Keyboardist
Zane is the keyboardist, one of the vocalists, and social networking manager as well as lead of content creation for CTO. Zane hopes to keep it 100 evertday.
